Basic Requirements for Admission*
Completion of at least 100 hours of training from validated protection school(s)*
Completion of at least two years of protective ops experience under qualified supervision
Satisfactory completion of 225 pt exam consisting of:

The concept of “validation” may vary from country to country. For matters relating to this certification, it is assumed that the school will be professionally operated and staffed, featuring core and elective courses necessary for the student to enter the field of protective operations in their region(s) of operation. Core elements should include modules relating to:
Introduction/History of Protection Protective Intelligence Advance Planning Defensive Tactics IED/HAZMAT Search Techniques Protection Driving Etiquette/Ethics Emergency Medical Response Detail Planning/Formations Motorcade Operations Threat Assessment Special Event Planning
