Certification Guidelines

Candidates and program representatives must be committed to the purpose and standards of the CPOM program.

Participants should demonstrate professional integrity, relevant experience, and a willingness to support the development of protective operations as a recognized professional discipline.

Candidates must:

• Be committed to the CPOM program and its professional concept 
• Be recommended by peers through at least two letters of professional reference 
• Be able to interpret the intent of a global program according to the needs of a local community 
• Maintain personal and organizational integrity 
• Serve as a training and experience model for other candidates
